Holiday Inn Express–Breakfast Bar
jtherkal: Kind of funny. I remember it and I understand it’s about a breakfast bar. Parts of the dialogue are good in each of the ones I’ve seen. And I think you have silky hair.
But it doesn’t make me forget that if I’m unlucky enough to be stuck at a Holiday Inn Express, and for some reason I’m up early enough to be eating at the hot breakfast bar, I’m probably not happy or having any sort of fun. If you’re serving something besides the standard continental breakfast, you gotta let me know. All you can eat bacon? An ice cream sundae station? Waffle makers? If you have these items, that’s something I might be interested in. Find a clever way to tell me that. Also, breakfast bar, real bar? Kind of lazy creative, ain’t it? B-.
sjbooher: I don’t even get it. I mean, I understand what’s going on, but it’s not funny to me. That lady is annoying. But, alas, my own sense of humor and personal tastes does not a good commercial make, I suppose. Actually, I think the end with the repeating “everybody likes me” ruins it for me. It does get the point across, but that is almost a bad thing. I can’t remember ever really enjoying a hot breakfast at a chain hotel. It is usually kind of gross. C-
